One of the cables we manufacture is a 16/7 Motor Cable with C7 Connectors. C7 (Ceep 7) is a multi-pin connector that contains both power and control. We rely on Ceep's quality connectors because they are proven to withstand the rigorous applications that entertainment production requires. C7 connectors have an aluminum alloy shell that is coated with a hard, non-conductive black anodized coating. This item is a 16 gauge wire with 7 conductors.

It's good cable for ProStar hoists

I've been gradually converting my old dual twist hoist cables (12/4+16/3 bundles) to C7 connectors. That's still good copper for my 1-ton inventory, but I don't need that much copper (and rubber) for my 1/4-ton ProStar hoists. The C7 16/7 is a lighter-weight option.

Shipped in a timely manner

It's hoist cable, it works. We did notice one minor cut / nick in the longest (125') cable, which looked like an original manufacturing defect and/or it got snagged coming off a reel when the connectors were being installed. Black e-taped covered it OK.

Cable was OK, but order also included ProStar bags missing bracket hardware

The e-mail said, "Review your recent order.." which to me means the entire order, not just the C7 cables. The cables are what they are - my problem is that TWICE I've ordered new ProStar chain bags and brackets "with hardware", as the website describes, and BOTH TIMES the hex bolts and nuts not included in the shipments. This lack of attention to detail by the MTN Shop unnecessarily tied up my time and the time for Rob to get it resolved.
