The CMC Outback Convertible Harness is a lightweight modular system for fast-moving technical teams in remote areas. Its patent-pending features allow configuration in the field based on the task at hand and let teams share components interchangeably.

- Modular sit harness: a waist belt donned with a quick-connect Cobra Buckle, with a patent-pending leg loop assembly that adds leg loops without opening the belt.
- No need to remove gear: leg loops close with quick-connect Cobra Buckles in seconds, without removing a backpack, skis, snowshoes or crampons.
- Convertible chest harness: rapidly integrates onto the sit harness with a sternal attachment point for backup systems or helicopter operations.
- Chest Ascender Kit: installs the lightweight Kong Futura Body mini chest ascender, compatible with 9-11 mm rope.
- Carry Pouch: compact, water-resistant X-50 fabric pouch for harness components, carabiners and cord, with a zippered front pocket.
